Dear Colleagues,

It is with pleasure and appreciation that I write to you today to outline a change to our ORA Senior Leadership. After 30 plus years serving the Emory community, Bill Lambert transitioned to his next challenge with ATTAIN Partners in their higher education consulting division. Bill has built a talented team in Research Grants and Contracts (RGC), worked endlessly to support the growth and development of our cherished post-award office. He has shown resounding leadership of the RGC team and will be missed on our leadership team. We are thankful to Bill for his service to our university over the years and wish him success in his new role.

As a result of this transition, I have appointed Jumionne Tiako and Brian Miller to serve as Interim Executive Directors of the Office of Research Grants and Contracts.

While we transition, please do not hesitate to contact Jumionne or Brian with any needs. As we work through the changes, we appreciate your partnership and are committed to providing excellent support services to our research faculty and staff. I will launch a national search and recruit a leader with extensive research post-award experience in the coming weeks.

Please join me in welcoming Jumionne and Brian in their new interim roles.
